Deogratius Joseph

Deo is 17 years old, and first became involved in GSE when he arrived at Mzumbe Secondary School in 2009. He was elected Club Chair Person by his fellows and by other students at participating high schools in Morogoro. Deogratius is a dedicated student who enjoys science, especially physics. Deogratius, (also know as "Ami") was nominated by his peers to represent GSE students from Morogoro in California. Paul Israel

Paul is a dedicated participant of GSE and is the student chairperson for the Mzumbe branch of GSE in Tanzania. He has worked hard to help plan the Mzumbe Secondary School poultry project, and was instrumental in drafting the contract and profit distribution plan throughout negotiations with GSE in California and his school administration. He is 18 years old, and he will be completing his form 4 studies in fall of 2010. Veronica Forni

Veronica is 17 years old and form Santa Fe, Argentina. Vernica's family works in the music recording bussiness, and her dad has recorded Los Palmeras among other notable artists. She has been involved with GSE Santa Fe since she hosted Samantha Forsythe in the summer of 2009. She helped to paint Escuela Freire during the GSE Sonoma visit in the summer, and grew to be very close friends with Samantha. "I first learned of Global Student Embassy when it was still a plan yet to be brought to life by the Oshun brothers. Their presentations and projects intrigued me, and the prospect of traveling to South America excited me, so I began attending weekly meetings.
