Travel to colonial Cuenca, a cobblestoned city nestled high in the Andes of Ecuador. Support rural community farm cooperatives in the outskirts of Cuenca, collaborate with local leadership students on youth driven projects such as school sustainable agriculture initiatives. Visit busy artisanal markets, learn local dance, taste the food of the Andes, and explore nearby lakes, volcanoes, and snow-capped peaks. Cuenca is a UNESCO world heritage site, with much to teach. This is the birth of a youth environmental movement, where students develop technical skills and the drive to change the world.

Yes, the trip leaders are inspiring because of the way the program came together and was manifested. After working with people here and looking at our progress from prior trips I feel powerful and able to make a change if I put my mind to it.
